Well, the Belgian police cars used to have this broad blue line/tape running all over the car...
A couple of years ago, our police 'forces' (blue colours) merged with the Belgian 'gendarme' (flame as symbol), so they had to redesign the car fleet; that's when they chose for this new colours, tapes and logo (a flame in a blue circle).

But like you said, it could as well be a car of the medical urgency team (they drive fluorescent yellow Volvos however: safety first

)
