No damn car is perfect today and there are also minuses by BMW that can make me give up from that car. And if i find faults by the car, i'll tell it for sure, regardless of it being BMW. I'm going to spend almost 100k on the car and i don't want to expirience such things like these people from CanDriver, but if i find 'em, wait to see me bitchin about it! That's why i've told you don't try. Quote:

What really makes all of this a hoot is that this particular group of writers usually likes BMWs, homely editor woman included. M

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Canadian Driver - Test Drive: 2007 BMW X5 3.0si I really got sick after reading this article , my blood is stil boiling. That's why I don't read any canadinan jurnals, they are written by some idiots and amators.... I had X5 3.0si for test drive for four days, now I'm driving for last 3 years X5 4.4i, before I had X5 3.0i for 3 years. I think my opinion would be definitly more reliable. I just order my new X5 3.0si because I found it much better then old 3.0i, more sporty and very comparable to my 4.4i. To correct their judgment I put some facts and my opinions. First point - car doesn't feel heavy and ponderous compare to its predecessor, has 45 more hp and torque 225/310 lb ft/Nm (214/290 old); Second - it's bigger, but not more heavy - maximum gros weight 2705 kg (2725 kg old); Third - aluminium running board is propably more complicated for old and crippled peoples but is very helpful for my children and besides look nicer; Forth - smaller trunk if you have 3-th row of seats but much bigger withaut and it has no spare wheel so it give you big compartment under trunk's carpet; Fifth and last - this dump jurnalist propably drove (if ever - I doubt) for first time an german SUV, they are definitly more stiff and firm then american cars and this vehicul feels more sporty than 3.0i. Other impotrant point to remember, this car has a lot of new technological features (stability control, i-drive etc.) also electronic park and start button. Some peoples my find it complicated and difficult. I personally like it. ![]() Last edited by Bartek Sikorski; 04-04-2007 at 04:40 PM.. |

Pathetic? Yes, pathetic to let her judge the car! For what concernes who's opinion would matter to me, above you have the opinion and expirience of siko's father, Mr. Bartek Sikorski, who actually drove the car for 4 days. Excuse me, but his opinion matters to me 10 times more than her's! -------------------------- I think i've made myself clear here and i won't continue this discussion. Next time when you and me, Marcus, will be discussing about this, will be when i get a chance to test drive one. It'll be very soon. Now, let's hear what other members have to say, if at all... ![]() ![]()

BTW, I look forward to hearing about your test drive because I have never at any time said this review was "right" or that it was the end-all on the X5, my issues lie elsewhere with this. M

Carjournalists are persons like you and me, they have opinions. But it doesnt mean their opinion is correct, everyone dont share their opinion. To each his own what is wrong and right ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Canadian Driver - Test Drive: 2007 BMW X5 3.0si You have your doubts? What now, i'm a liar? Thanks a lot! ![]() And what? I'm not entitled to not give a $h!t about one damn review written by this old fart? I'm not entitled to say my opinion about it? Just because you don't agree, you doubt in what i say, you find my reaction knee-jerk? Give me a break, please; i'll say whatever i want about her review, wether you like it or not. As other members can do as well. I didn't insult anyone here, just said what i think! I have to ask you a question: Do you find her attractive? It seems so, since you're defending her so much... ![]() ![]() ![]() |
