I've got NFS2 and while it is dated, and pretty fake, it's a great game.

That sucks dude Right now i haven't got NFS 3 or 4, i sold them a couple of years ago, not sure why..it was just one of those stupid mistakes

Anyways i had to buy a new PGR 2 because aside from the scratches the heat from my XBOX started to make a crack down the disk, it started from the middle and grew out. Now it doesn't work..at all.. but i've still got the disk

Re: Top 5 Video Games

Another problem with current NFS games is that after you've finished them you can't play them anymore:S At least for PS2.

Underground, Underground 2 and Most Wanted have all been like that. I hate it! Most wanted works occassionaly but that's it

That's true. I like when they were the tradtional standard racing game, not the drive around the city stuff.. So in my eyes

NFS: Old Series > New series

NFS2 was the first racing game I played on my 133mhz computer with 32MB Ram. The game was great. Two years ago I downloaded NFS4 but unfortunately it isn't XP compatible.
What I don't like with the current NFS games are the following:
-Most wanted and most wanted 2 have lacking graphics.
-When EA brought Supras, 350z and other cars popular amongst tuners the game completley lost it soles. The only cars which should be in NFS games are Exotics.
-What's up with all the darkness. I want to see bright mountain roads and beautiful scenery, and not dark inner city environments.
-Lastly the CPU pretty much sucks. You can crash how mcuh you want and will still be able to reach the finish line before the CPU. The latest games are simply too easy.

Either way I will try to get a hold of hot pursuit 2 to commemorate old times. I'm really angry with EA for destroying one of the best game series ever. The new command & conquer game better be good.

Re: Top 5 Video Games

I love HP2, it was great and I loved the music in it as well!

I have Command & Conquer: The First Decade which is a great collection of games! Can't wait to try out the new one!

I agree 100% Luw

The idea of street racing around a city at night really doesn't appeal to me and i don't want to race Evo's and MR2's.. and there's nothing wrong with those vehicles, but i want to be driving exotics!

On winding mountain roads with beautiful scenery

BUt I think the change in direction for the NFS games is because of trends and the current direction is what sells...
