Re: Top 5 Video Games

Boy, this is really hard. I've been playing video games since 1980 when my parents bought my an Atari 2600 when I was 10 years old.

Here's my first thought in no particular order. I may revise later.

Half-Life 2 (PC)
F.E.A.R (PC)
Gears of War (XBox 360) even though I haven't it finished. It's just a great game.
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (PC) - Once you get all your force powers, it is really fun hacking through Stormtroopers or force choking them and throwing them against a wall.
Halo 1 and 2 (Xbox)

If you notice, all the games on my first list are first person shooters. I love sports games and driving games as well, but favorites first person shooters.

Re: Top 5 Video Games

^^
Burnout is a cool game, I recall playing it for the first time. I though it was just like any other racing game i.e drive to the finish line. After driving for a few seconds I got ramed and the CPU keep raming me and I thought "W.TF is this". So I paused the game and asked my buddy what's going on and he told me that the game was all about raming each other. After that little conversation the beef was on.
Now when Xbox is passé I will try to pick up used xbox game for cheap.

All Nintendo games, since they are the very best the industry has to offer. Every game on the market today uses things Nintendo invented. It's sad to see even here people don't recognise Nintendo.

Even things like the Xbox 360 controller are the way they are because of Nintendo. Nobody knows this. Very sad.

BTW I forgot to mention NFS 3/NFS 4. I loved driving a diablo and being chased by en M5 police. Too bad todays NFS games aren't equally as good as the old ones.

I very much agree with this, especially NFS: High Stakes. That was an incredible game!

On later NFS games playing as the cop meant you had to fill a quota, but on High Stakes you could just stay in one spot until the guy goes fyling by, or you could ram him front end on ...
