In NFS3 Mercs and Ferraris were off limits in Hot Pursuit mode. However, there were all sorts of tools for editing the cars in the game and all you had to do was change the manufacturer name, like from Mercedes to Mercedes-Benz.

M3s aren't common cars.
The M3 GTR (street legal) is more exclusive, and hardcore then just about any Ferrari or Porsche out there CGT and Enzo included.

I got NFS Carbon and i have been playing it for 5 days. The driving part is great, i mean GREAT. They drive like real cars. Not stuck on the road. You can make your car's tyres scream...

Anyway, about the rest of the game, not really worth it. I want something new...

I am done with career and 95% with challenge and their is no sign of a Zonda ...... anywhere All cars Are in the cards or career and known about before hand. Either im or somthin is wrong with the game i got. And yes i have collectors edition. BTW the firetruck is fun to race around.
