Bluray is a new disc technolgy which allows up to 100gb to be stored on one dics(most dics will have capacity of 30-50gb). MS has said that the Xbox will be the most hackproof console ever but we all know that within a month after the xbox is released it will allready be hacked. BTW MS has constructed the 360 in a way that if you try to open the console youself, components will snapp and be broken. This will ensure that hacker won't be able to install microchips and such.

Sure they can make it a different way, seem like all can be hacked, If they can it open it, i dont think they would care if the plastic pieces snap, surely they can figure something out....

Also... hackers are getting better with the technology.... seems it can all be done!

It's not only plastic that will snap, but component will also break lose. But anyways will see what ugly tricks MS have used. One thing is for sure, the more tricks they use, the more motivated and curious will the hackers be.

Wow so fragile, perhaps if you try to heat it open, it will sense a temp of over 120 degrees f. And will automatically self explode.

I dont know just sounds funy, that it implodes as you try to open it. I guess thats one way to keep things going...

I see alot of warranty issues, and many refurb's to be out following release date.

Pirate games... hummm.... They can be purchased in certain segments of NYC, like in China town and lower Manhattan area's, but its not extremely in your face, in fact if you dont know about it, you will never hear of it, it is uncommon in NY for sure.

How about by you?

About Blu Ray: the most important part is that Blu Ray discs make it possible to watch movies (almost all major studios will use Blu Ray as the next gen format, mainly because Sony owns half of the major sutudios) in high definition, unlike normal DVD (normal DVD uses 640*480, versus Blu Ray that supports up to 1900*1200 progressive). Huge, huge difference in quality.

Xbox 360 will have awesome looking games, and I am looking forward to it a lot, but in my opinion, PS3 with the RSX GPU and CELL CPU (8 cores) will be beyond even Xbox 360.

Nintendo Revolution will be fantastic too, from what I have seen from it.
