![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Real life vs. games. Stage: Tokyo. Platform Xbox 360 Oh, this is only the beginning. Let me show you this with this mighty fine example of Project Gotham Racing 1 and 2 for Xbox (not Xbox 360). Notice the difference in graphics on the same hardware: Project Gotham Racing 1 (US: November 9, 2001): ![]() Project Gotham Racing 2 (US: November 17, 2003): ![]() PGR1 was an Xbox launch game. PGR2 came out two years later. When developers get control of the hardware, you really see it in the graphics. It takes time though. 2nd generation of Xbox 360 software will look like this: Gears of War, first half of 2006: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Impressive stuff! .That's the scary thing actually... the graphics for the Xbox 360 look amazing... and this is not even half of the potential of the game. We have come really far since the PS1 ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Real life vs. games. Stage: Tokyo. Platform Xbox 360 It's amazing, you can barely tell which one is real on these pictures. Quote:
![]() Today I played a demo on the Xbox 360 in a mediastore, the game was "King Kong", the graphics were good but I noticed some framedrops which is quite annoying and to me also disappointing. It's as if the Xbox couldn't handle the game properly. Does framedrops also appear in PGR3?

I had to see them several times to really catch up and see what which one is not real and which ones it real. Someone were to say "hey guy I am going to post pics that I took today" I would definitely think they are real and have no question as to their credibility. |
