This is a wicked system, as im checking it out, wanted to pick one up tommorow, but seems like Wal-mart which is open 24hrs has only 50 pieces, and has had people hanging out there since 11/21/05 6:00AM. They are taking numbers for those fifty units. Called BestBuy they didnt say how many they have, but they did say they will be likely sold out by the time i get there in the morning. The demand is rediculous, and truthfully i didn't expect it too be sold out before it comes out. Nowadays i figured there would be enough to satisfy all. I guess not... I could order on ebay and pay a couple of hundred dollars premium for it, but just doesn't seem like a good idea. Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas.

Truthfully im still surprised there are people waiting for this system since the day before at 6am. WOW!

Microsoft intentionally kept the supply low. They will bump it up after the Christmas season. I'm not sure why, but that's what I've been reading.

Funny, I was at CompUSA tonight with my roommate and they already had people lining up in the rain from early this morning.

I managed to get one from wallmart. It's only the core system (was hoping for premium) but I can't complain. It is an absolute beast, especially on HDTV. It is a bit bigger than I thought and the power adapter is just a brick... Wireless controllers took me a while to figure out how to make it work. Overall, had to wait 6 hours in Wallmart (thankfully, in the middle of nowhere VA). Glad to have one.

Now I cannot wait until PGR3. NFS Most Wanted is what I'm playing now and it's ok I guess.

PGR3 is going to rock the world. EA games are so lame and the graphics of their games are dissapointing. Microsoft games are allways the best to buy since MS pump millions of dollars into their games. Just look at Halo 2 and PGR2, their graphics are amazing and much better than games such as the lord of the rings and NFS underground which both comes from EA.

I never heard of such a thing i went to best buy this morning they were sold out (of course) salesman said buyers were camping sincce 7pm last night and sold out of entire stock in 20 minutes.

By the way this is not the only ebay auction that is int he high thousands, i never seen something like this before, nor would i ever buy an xbox360 for $10K, not even $1K for that matter!

Can anyone tell me WTF is going on. I really cant believe it!
