***Wimmer checks out the 2007 Audi TT***

Ok, so I went up to the local Mercedes dealership in the hopes of finally driving a new E-Class. Well, the car I was supposed to drive won't be here until Friday. A new RWD E280 CDI with 190-horsepower. So I picked up a new CL brochure and headed over to the Audi-VW and BMW dealership to see what's new. BMW had nothing in their lot or showroom, so I went to Audi. They had the Q7 out infront and a catchy red 2007 Audi TT in the showroom.

I was never crazy about the original Audi TT and I am not crazy about the new one either. The red color is catchy, but the design did little for me. I wasn't excited at all (though I acted like I was crazy about the car infront of the salesman, who gave me a brochure...). The interior is ok from a design POV and the materials are appropriate for a car in this class. I'd say the new TT interior is pretty much similar to the current R171 Mercedes SLK in terms of fit and finish. That's about all I can say about the car. Not my thing. Sorry Audi guys.

The Audi TT brochure on of the salesman gave me. I'm selling it at a starting price of $25. Who bids the highest?

I was staring at the picture of that TT and despite WIMMER being written all over it, I didn't even notice it!

Seems like you weren't into the TT them, I must say I'm not so into the looks either!

Thanks for the report Chris. I must say that i didn't care much about the previous TT but this one is very cool.

I will buy a 3.2 lt one and race against just_me and his new Z4 3.0i.
