There will be no 2007 model of the Audi TT. The all-new TT coupe and Roadster will arrive as 2008 models. They will feature the 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.2 narrow-angle V6 engines, and six-speed manual and S tronic transmissions.

I guess you will see the first ones outside the dalers by the end of the year.

Not by the end of the year... but more next year! 2008 models are still a bit away.

For example the S class now on sale in US is the 2007 model:

...so in 2007 most cars will be called 2008 MY. Strange but true.

Re: Audi plans to inrease production for new TT.

Same news with more details:

Audi to increase TT production by 150%

If you want to make me really happy, you would buy me an Audi TT. That will get a whole lot easier soon, thanks to an ambitious increase in production that the company has announced.

The production of the 2007 Audi TT Coupe began in June at the company's Hungarian assembly plant. To boost the production, the company will increase the workforce from the current modest level of 220 up to 800. The four-fold increase in workers will allow Audi to increase the production of the vehicles from 20,000 to 50,000 next year.

It seems obvious, but clearly this move is indicative of both very strong sales of earlier versions of the vehicle, and a strong reception to the design changes that have made the car a little sleeker and a little nicer. It also means that fans of the cars will now have more chances to see them on the road, or to buy one if they are in the market.
