Re: Audi TT: First real life photos.

Seats are probably comfortable yet still very supportive like the last model.

Re: Audi TT: First real life photos.

Wow, Im genuinely impressed! I really did not care for the old TT at all, interior and exterior, I couldn't understand why people would want that car. But this, front and back looks modern, aggressive and sporty. I find this to be one of the most attractive cars Audi offers at the moment, next to the A8. The only gripes I have are the plane lil ring of plastic? around the fog lights, and the trunk-lid line above the front wheel arch, I'm not digging the way the line is interrupted. Also the interior looks sort of plain from the few photos I see.

Overall the car is attractive and very dynamic looking, props to Audi once again

This is not a pic thread like the other one so i don't think that it's a repost.

This new TT doesn't look like anything with smaller wheels and in this color for some reason.

I think you're absolutely right. Perhaps automobile companies are in such a hurry to get new images out there that their print photographers haven't had enough time to experiment with different camera lens' or vantage points...
I see it all the time...where the photograph looks very different than the car in person.
The VW Passat is just one example where the car looks pretty ho-hum in ads but very sleek, very tight in reality.
Audi's would seem to be particularly hard to accurately portray from the front because of the large single grille. In person Audi design
is perfectly tailored to the rest of the car. That seems to be part of the trick - to successfully incorporate such a large design element into a very muscular and integrated ensemble.
I'm a big fan of the TT. The old model looks better to me today than when it was new. I can't wait to see the new one in person.
