Re: Audi TT 3.6 FSI Quattro.

I'm hugely surprised. I thought the 3.2 was going to be the top of the line TT, but obviously I was wrong.

Definitely a worth contender to the 335i, can't wait.

Re: Audi TT 3.6 FSI Quattro.

I don't think Audi will present a TT with 324 hp cause the rumored Audi TT 2.5 lt TFSI will have 350 hp. A figure around 300 hp is closer to reality.

Nothing is confirmed untill you see it in your local dealer.

Like i had said many months ago Audi has tested both the 3.6 lt VR6 and S3's 2.0 TFSI in the new TT.
According to my info a lightweight TT with S3's engine named TT Quattro Sport (like the TT mk.I) got the green light for production but that will happen sometime in 2008.
The TT 3.6 lt will mainly target the North American market.

Due to cost cutting Audi stoped development of the R5 2.5T FSI engine.
Because the engine will not be used in other Audi's like A4, A5, A6 or A8.

Hans.

I guess that 324 hp in the TT would scare every 911 driver!

Re: Audi TT 3.6 FSI Quattro.

I wonder if it will be possible to mate this engine with Audi's glorious DSG (S-Tronic as they call it) gearbox.

V6 324 Bhp + The world's fastest shifting gearbox + New TT well-balanced chassis + Brilliant new Magnetic suspension = That would be a match made in heaven!
