From family to grand dining with dress code and your own butler. Also ( very important) is the budget. Are you going by yourself? would you like to spend less than $20? $50? $100 per person? or splurge to the max? According to where you want to go, you might need reservations in advance. |

Blog Entries: 2 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Need Help About NY Ok, From funky to more serious dining : Pop Burger on 9th Ave , ( yes they also serve burgers) but you must check it out! Amazing casual dining spaces well put together and their fillet mignon is good, good good! Amazingly they serve caipirinha, ( you might want DaSilva's input on that) and their wine list is limited but decent. York Grill on York Ave is more upscale ( their specialty is brunch for $20 and lots of goodies) . Their Cavatelli is to die for, the lamb exquisite and their porterhouse is not to shabby either. Wonderful French food at Jacques Brasserie ( also have Champagne brunch) they'll serve anything from cod to rabbit to duck, yes they have beef ![]() Shartz Cafe and wine bar is also a good place ( a bit pricier) . The serve black Angus steaks and have a nice wine list. . If there is a specific ethnic cuisine you like NY is the place to find it!!, again consult your concierge ,phone book or pick up a city guide! Like Jeff said, NY is one the dining ( and shopping) capitals of the world! Whatever you do, have fun with your friends! ![]() |

![]() | Re: Need Help About NY Yo, I'll pick you up from the airport ![]() Man, you need to pay a visit to the cart on 53rd and 6th Ave. It's the only one I eat from late at night. They're so busy, there's always a line LOL. Even the NY Times paid them a visit: - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER Best of it all, it's HALAL. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Need Help About NY Peter Lugers is in downtown Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge, its not in NYC. Theres also one in LI,NY but it is not good. Peter Lugers is classic, but I'd still suggest going to Sparks in NYC. Their steaks are unreal. Thats where Castellano was shot in '85 btw. Lugers is a household name for steak houses like McDonalds, good steak but nothing spectacular. Im sure you will still enjoy the dinner, just saying its out of the way to go there just for steak. |
