![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Raped, what would you do? Thats terrible I'd be soo shocked my mind would be everywhere so I wouldn't have a clue what to do if that happened to me ![]() We all say we would torture him or kill him..but would we actually?? Because if we did that would make us as bad as him..What we would do is make him kill himself with guilt ![]() |

![]() | Re: Raped, what would you do? That is awful to hear and sorry for your friend. It is hard to prosecute that person since there is no witness to put on him. If a witness was there to prove that the girl was resisting and that the guy was sexually harassing her, then the evidence can put the man in jail. There are a lot of cases where the rapist got away with raping people by saying that the girl was just 1) drunk 2) having rough sex (like you said). Therefore, the best evidence is witnesses. NEVER result in using violence because that will only get yourself in trouble. Also, I'm sure the police already did this, check the rapist's background for criminal charges or any charges to use that against him. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Raped, what would you do? There were I think three "witnesses" in the apartment, but all covered for their friend saying she was drunk and that they did not see anything. |

The point is that she states this was NOT consensual sex. The so call "witnesses" were not with them all the time. You this is a case that if she becomes pregnant by this guy ( as he is denying anything happens) it would serve him well. Please talk her out of a gun, he's not worth her life, there are many support groups for rape victims. The thing is that she will have to learn to trust men again, and that will be an uphill battle, but not an impossible one. Tell her to have courage, and realize he ( the creep) is in worst shape than she is psychologically. It is known that rape is not a crime of sex, but of power and domination. The creep is just in a deeper inferno that she is. |

I don't have to talk her out of anything because I talk to her, I found out from someone else. I have not heard anything for a while so as far as I know he has left the country. I just don't understand why the police would refuse to do anything about it, but refused to drop charges from three and a half years ago when that victim told the police to drop them. | |
