Say you have a friend that went to an apartment of acquaintance from work for a birthday party for a few minutes to say hi. Several hour later she come home soaking wet. She tells you had her cell phone broken so she couldn’t call the police and she was locked in the bathroom. A guy she worked with (dish washer from Moldova) beat her, raped her and then threw her in the show to wash away evidence before forcing her outside and throwing her keys into the middle of the street.
You take her to the hospital for a rape kit, which collects plenty of evidence including DNA. The police come and take a statement.
The police then take to the rapist and he tells them he knows nothing. The several witnesses say the girl was drunk (she wasn’t) and they did not see what happened. While taking the statement the police find a warrant out for the girl from three and a half years ago. (Police sent notice to wrong address and had it listed under incorrect name, people involved reconciled and moved on, but police will not drop it). Four months later nothing has been done, police say it is a he said she said and could just be “rough sex”. Several days from now the rapist will be getting on a plane to fly back to Moldova forever.
Over the past four months the rapist still works at the same place as the victim, he will harass her all the time. Management will not reschedule either person so they do not have the same shift. He meets her after work at her car and rubs in the fact that he raped her and nothing will happen to him.
A friend was raped and the police refuse to do anything and the guy will be gone in a few days. What would you do???

Simple answer when legal solutions fail: collect some distant friends (or someone who knows some who knows someone) to beat the rapist - but not as hard to get him into a hospital: since they are obligated to report such injuries to the police.

My favourite: crush few of his front teeth out. He will look stupid, he will have difficulties while eating, and it will take a fortune to fix the situation.

Or: just scare him with big scissors in a hand - threatening him his ball will be cut off. And give him a few punches.

I know it's unbelievable what I'm saying this but sometimes this is only what it's fair & you're forced to do it when other (legal) solutions fail.

Another solution: try to forget it, get a shrink, be more careful. People are evil.

Regardless, this SOB should get it badly. Especially since he believes he is getting away with it.

The local authorities might be overwhelmed, I'm hoping if someone insists, they will re-open the case, but this would be even more trauma for the victim.

I'ts a shame that this scum roams the Earth and do not feel they need to be accountable for their actions

She has been begging for a gun for the past four months. The friend has thought of several ways to take care of the guy, everything from bust down the door and blow off his head to tie him up and first use a hot curling iron, nailing his little head to a board...
The only reason he has not done this is he knows he would be arrested and spend the rest of his life in prison.

If this had happend to a close friend of mine or my sister, he would be dead.

I'd pay some big sexually aberrant dudes to gangbang his ass!

Such things are absolutely terrible to act as bystander for.
A very dear friend of mine was systematically abused for a long time by her cousin. And just you like you, I was lost at what actions to take. It is absolutely terrible to be a bystander for something of this nature.

Whatever is done the girl will need moral support and positive attention, and lots of it. And I hope something gets done to the dude. The damage he's caused is beyond repair.

If someone does that to a woman close to me..
He will die.. simple as that.. even if he gets convicted for it..
He will die when he comes out..

On the other hand i take HUGE precautions for a situation like this NOT to happen..

Ok if a friend calls you and tells you his girlfriend or sister was raped and he needed you to talk him out of killing the guy could you?

^yeah sure.. if he is my friend i would think about HIM first..
and i wouldnt want him to get busted or killed..
so i would not advice him to do it..
so i guss im 2 faced when it comes to this..haha

Is the scum-bag worth your friend's freedom?

Would he be willing to sacrifice his life, all he has done, and all the things that he will do for that SOB rapist?
