I'm having a .... today

A bad day, or a good day?

Bad day for me.

Our dog is sick,
my lady wasn't promoted as promised (will have to wait additional 6 months),
I have countless deadlines to catch (= no weekend dolce vita activities),
insurance company wants to charge more for our house insurance,
our neighbor doesn't want sign an agreement for a new fence (yes, to build a fence we have to get neighbor's agreement - what a stupid law!)
the weather is not nice!

February 29th, 2008 - officially a totally bad day.

Err, the day isn't quite over in these parts (3:51pm). That being said, my day thus far can't really be described as 'good' or 'bad', but rather 'mediocre'. Nothing good happened, but then nothing bad happened. Haha.

The worst thing about today would be the atrocious weather... Other than that, not too much to complain about.

all green lights
was given chocolate
bossman took my advise, and went for my proposal
good weather, sunny 72 F
and... we have the weekend to shop for a sofa

-traffic jams
-not a really good meeting with a potential customer
-missed my gym session
-caught in the traffic jam again in the night
-power went off, i was 19 hours into the 24 hours Le Mans Enduro on my PS

-no money

Good for me as I slept for the entire day. After 62 hours of non-stop work with only 4 hrs rest I was in need of a long rest

Tomorrow, another day off so should also be good! Might go fishing...

Yesterday, it was a great day.

- was at home in Greifswald
- visit Hamburg
- notice that our Scenic needs around 13 litre/100 km

- got fuel for 1,37 € per litre
- less traffic
- sun was shining
- made a great DVD evening with some friends...

Today:

- the wheather is bad - but I'm happy.

Yesterday was overall a good day.

- I had to work late, but it meant that several things have now been finished and I don't have to worry about them any more
- I finished a study-related project, meeting the deadline
- When I came home from work, there was some freshly-baked apple pie in the kitchen (thanks to Sandy

)
- We had a nice evening; we went for a walk, then ended up watching TV and just talking, drinking a bit of wine
