It is. But it's a limited project only. Lasting few months only. Yet I'm sure if this party wins the elections I'll be able to work (this time directly) for the government again. And if being a public employee (employed by the state) that means getting OK but not extraordinary salary. I guess I could get more here - at my current employee.

But ... Politics is my passion. More a hobby. Yet I like to be near centers where decisions are made. And such jub could bring me numerous of very important contacts for the future.

But ... Such job would completely kill my free time, and all activities linked to it.

Thanks God they gave me quite some time to think about the offer.

Damn! Decision making is a hard job.

Today was a good day...
- slept in until 8am,
- went for a run,
- answered all my emails
- went to work for 5 hrs
- went to a cafe with my wife in the city
- cleaned the house up abit
- now watching a movie, posting on GCZ and preparing for the working week ahead.

Lovely, lovely day, to end a lovely lovely weekend.

Started out pretty weird, we had a big storm with tornado watch and we ( also) changed times on account of the spring-up deal, so we lost an hour. Dang! I have to adjust the times in the cars

I make pizza from scratch for lunch..yummy

Played with the kitties, basked in the sun and watched a good movie in the afternoon ( the Man Who Sued God).


Had a quiet dinner with NSL of pasta with artichoke and a surprisingly delicious bottle of Tempranillo/Garnacha 2006 wine from Spain.

Now looking forward to a great "week-end ending" and restful sleep before the start of a 6 day week (I'm on duty again next Saturday) .

Life is good...life is good.

The Doom day has arrived. Yesterday.

My frontal upper tooth (1-1) had to be removed urgently. Then a tooth implant was inserted in my upper jaw. The gum was reconstructed, and a temporary artificial tooth was installed in my mouth.

I was lying in that stupid chair for 3 and a half hours.

Full of anesthetics, pin-killers, antibiotics ...

Today I look like an elephant ... all swollen. But no pins, thanks God ... or to pharmaceutical companies for effective pain-killers (diclofenac).

So, I'm now able to eat liquid food only - for few following days. Then I'm prohibited to load the new tooth - meaning: prohibited to use it for biting (food, not people ). For the next 6 weeks. After that (for another 6 weeks) I have to be very careful not to break it. And after that - approx. 3 months from now when the implant is fully joined with bone, a permanent solution (ceramic tooth) will be done.

A great opportunity to lose some weight in the mean time.

I'm not even going to mention how much this "dental adventure" will cost me in the end. A fortune!

Other than that the life is fine.

I had a great day:

- visit a very good friend today (we are friends for more then 14 years)
- bought chocolade.
- and met my girlfriend. (enjoy every moment with her, because we will not see us for the next 3 month)

Good day:

• Weather turned out much better than expected
• Completed a whole load of personal chores
• Took some photography that I'm an extremely happy with
• Did some epic walking
• Saw a Carrera GT, an R8 and the new M3

Late last night and most of today was one of the best days of my life...
- Paged at 2am for a category 3 Emergency
- Arrived at work at 2.25 to a rush of doctors and nurses aiding a 9 yr old boy who had been a motor vehicle accident
- Spent the next 30 minutes accessing scans and talking to the family and staff
- operating began at 3.15am to completely rebuild the entire skull and duramater and also reduce intercranial pressure
- 12 Hours later I was able to tell the worried mother her young boy had survived and had a ood chance of a full recovery.
- Went home at 5 pm the next day feeling extremely pleased with myself. Now I get tomorrow (Friday) off to research for an upcoming convention.

-Made some progress with my thesis research, my supervisor finally gave me some help

-Nice girls around uni, and more in the gym.
