I wonder... why SOOO Many airports for these nice South American countries? and what is the definition of AIRPORT? If by "airport" they mean : piece of land where you can land a plane ( regardless of size/weight), then I understand places that are more dedicated to "cargo" count same as people-mover type airports. then yes.. much "cargo" flows out of Colombia |

There's the Pampas, Patagonia big (BIG) areas of flatlands and the Andes. I've seen MOST of the South American Airports... the international ones are small. The Municipal ones are not much more that a tower and a landing strip, some are even paved I'm, telling you it's "kilo-cargo" material  | |
