| Watches I was trying to find a section in this forum that would accept such a thread. I think this may be it. Back in GCZ we used to have threads talking about timepiecs. I believe it has been a while since we have had one so I guess it is time to strike another one. Go ahead and post any timepieces that you have, want, or like and/or write about anything relating to timepieces. I currently own an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. I love this watch and truly would not change anything about it. Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One thing that truly fascinates me the most about watches is how some brands have a history. Now, I know there are brands that are better than both Rolex and Omega. I particularly am biased towards Omega. However, recently I have really been looking at Rolex and how their standards are. I must give it to their marketting department--which some argue doesn't do much at all since Rolex is one of the most recognized brands--for introducing me to some of the most valueble things that concern Rolex. Look at some of these Rolex videos: 904L is amazing and is more than enough for a watch but you can truly admire their quality. And with a Federer introduction... A video about Panerai's movements. |

Blog Entries: 2 | Re: Watches My watch: ![]() One of the things that greatly attracted me to this watch was it's old fashioned allure. The watch it's self has a very classy theme to it; most definitely an old fashion look and style - all of which is accentuated by the conventional brown coloured leather strap. Couldn't ask for more. ![]() |

| Re: Watches Since cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players etc incorporate clock function, I gave up wearing a watch. ![]() Otherwise I have never been very fond of watches due their jewelery function / status ... Because I just hate jewelery. ![]() |
