A watch and a Car?? When people buy cars they tend to believe that they're "turning a new leaf". Now my question is whether you would buy a watch with your car. question/ survey. When you buy a car would you want to buy a watch at the same time? Were thinking about becoming a rolex dealer so you can also finance your car and a watch at the same low rate. If you bought a car and your wife says "what about me" she may need watch (such as a rolex). So you can have a track day while she has a full inderstanding of the time. What do you think? I was looking through the latest BMW magazine and I found 17 watch adds. 17!! Full page watch adds so the buying a car along with a watch may go hand in hand. Any way: what do you all think??

Re: A watch and a Car?? i never even knew there were people who bought watches and cars simultaneously. i usually only indulge myself with something like a watch when the market rewards me....which hasn't been awhile now ![]() as for rolex, they don't really appeal that much to me. they are the second largest exporter of watches out of switzerland at about 750,000 watches a year which really lowers the feeling of exclusivity to anyone whos ever wanted to make the "investment" of buying a rolex.

Re: A watch and a Car?? Yeah, although it's not like I buy new cars habitually, I've never really thought, "hmm, I like this car, if I bought it, what watch would I get with it?". It's not necessarily a related purchase. Then again, those ads are probably in the BMW magazine because it's for money with people and some sense of style, which are related. But it's not the same as buying new car = buying new watch. You might get some sales out of opportunistic buyers, but I doubt it would be a magical success. And I also don't have a particular appeal for Rolex. I would have thought Rolexes are more Mercedes' style, if anything. They're just such a cliche watch brand, now.
