For what it's worth - Swatch is a very well respected brand within the parthenon of watch snobs. Heck, how couldn't you pay them some respect? The sheer magnatude of watch brands they own is astonishing, and let's not even start about ETA. They're like the VAG & GM of watchland all rolled into one.

You gotta show us your collection sometime!

Cool watches. I digg your table. So what do you to with the watches, keep them on a folder, place them inside a frame and hang them on your walls?

I have stored them in boxes for a few years -- I kind of lost interest in then a while ago ...but I really like the brightly coloured ones.

Does anyone know what happened to the Sandberg Collection?

It was assembled over the years by a British banker, Lord Michael Sandberg. He used to be the chairman of Hongkong Bank, now HSBC. He lived in a big mansion, Skyhigh, at the top of Victoria Peak in HK. I remember him being described as an entrepreneurial banker.

I know he auctioned the collection off and raised over $10 million. I am just wondering what happened to most the pieces in his collection and why he sold it off.
