Re: The most expensive watch in the world.

Seriously Lu. If you're in the market prestige watch in the range of $300USD or so I'd seriously you check out Ebay and see what's out there in the way of vintage Omegas.

Tissot is a respected name, but you get much more for your money in the way of design, character and story if you look at vintage watches. Omega Seamasters in resonable shape can be had for as little as $250. There's also all sorts of quality Bulovas, Movados and Tudors you can get for prices that completely resonable - granted you must come with an apprication for old-timey designs and the like.

Not sure what a 60s Mustang has do with a 60s Omega, nor what an old Omega makes you think of LA but... I'll take your word on it. Of course, for what old Mustangs are fetching nowadays, it'll take some time for me to save up. And by the time I've actually saved up, they will be worth so much more I'll have to save up all over again - rinse and repeat.

Always had a thing for the late 50s to mid 60s Seamasters. The triangluar indexes and arabic numbers have a unique look that Omega "owned" in that period and really defined the Seamaster line. I'm glad the look has been resurrected for the new "Aqua Terra" line of Seamasters - It gives the watches a personality that's unmistakable, even from a distance.

Big Bug for me

The watch is pretty cool, but i've never been a big watch man, in fact i could only spend about $300 on a watch, as for car models.. well that's a different story

LOL -- now you mention it, I'm not sure either. It just sort of popped into my head .....one of my psychodelic moments I would say. Sorry Josh -- my "special medicine" must be wearing off.

I am surprised that nobody else has yet posted a single watch by "The King Of Hip Hop Bling" - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

Re: The most expensive watch in the world.

AH ROB! Why did you have to go and do that.

Look man, Jacob & Co. is a "Watchmaker" in the same sense that Paul Wall is a "Fine Jewler." It's garbage. Although I have to admit that the concept of the Jacob brand is brilliant, since it plays on every misconception Hip-Hop culture has lent the general public about desirable objects. "Let's see... dig into the parts bin, grab some Quartz movements - add a jillion diamonds, charge a fortune... Presto! We go celebs lining up for this junk!"

Franck Muller is soda pop masquerading as wine. Sloppy watches.

Thanks for the advie Osna. I'm really into buying a recpectable watch. It doesn't need to be a Rollie but I want a very masculine one, with great quality and name to match. My budget is max $500 which quite frankly for me is lower then it might be for you thanks to the low dollar exchange rate. I will be on the look out on eaby after some of the watches you mentioned. Feel free to post pictures of any watches you think look nice.

LOL ...you don't hold back you true thoughts, do you J

The watches I really love like Blancpain and Patek Philippe.

Jacob & Co sure do look incredible ...very bold, I quite like them, although, they are a bit too ostentatious.

Josh, what do you think of the Bell & Ross watches?
