| Victoria's Secret sued over g-string injury Quote:
An American woman is suing lingerie label Victoria's Secret after she suffered an eye injury while trying on a g-string.
Macrina Patterson, 52, claims a metallic embellishment not firmly attached to the g-string flew off and hit her in the eye when she tried the delicate undergarment on in May last year.
Ms Patterson filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court last week, seeking damages for injuries she sustained during the incident.
The offending garment was a decorative low-rise "v-string", Victoria's Secret's own version of the g-string, from the "Sexy Little Thing" line.
Ms Patterson's lawyer, Jason Buccat, told a US investigative website, The Smoking Gun, that his client's cornea was damaged and the injury would affect her "for the rest of her life".
Mr Buccat said the eye injury had caused Ms Patterson, a traffic officer with the LA Department of Transportation, to miss a few days of work.

The Americans do sue everyone for everything. And really ..... 52 year old women should never attempt to try on a g-string, that is just gross. |
