I don't follow Hollywood and I don't like celebrities much, but even I got to respect this guy's career decisions. With the amount of money actors are paid, so many so-called actors whore themselves out in shitty movies they don't like just for the $$$. Heath Ledger could have done a lot bigger roles in blockbuster movies for the pay, but didn't.

This is after the fact and take it with a huge grain of salt, but in terms of Asian face reading principles, I think he had an extremely suspect face. I'm a little interested in face reading and have been reading about it recently. When I first saw some pictures of Heath Ledger in the yahoo link below, I was very surprised. He has some of the most ominous face-reading features.

Face reading or physiognomy is an ancient Chinese skill set for determining one's fate and luck in life. It says there are some signs of a potential early death. They are:

- you can clearly see the skeletal outline on his forehead, his temples look indented
- Chinese face reading considers the temple area to be the pillar of energy, as always a round and fleshy forehead and temples are desirable
- people with indented/depressed/hollow temples are said to have difficulty rebounding from setbacks
- a lot of seniors have bony foreheads and indented temples (as do malnourished people) due to aging, but it is rare for someone in their 20s to have them

- face reading suggests long earlobes indicate longevity, look at the earlobes on Buddha, they are said to be perfect
- the picture shows his earlobes well, very short

- when face reading for men you tend to look at the left side
- a broken eyebrow is very inauspicious, I've read that it is the most reliable indicator of an early death
- some people have only broken eyebrow, which is no less inauspicious.

I'm sure some people will think that I'm seeing what I thought I'd see, now that he died young. However, these are general face reading concepts.

The broken eyebrow (left) is not very common, so it's rare that one person has three of the inauspicious signs on their face. The only other person I know to have three of these early death features is - well, me.

Fascinating Ray. I am very relieved to say that I have none of those characteristics ....although I was once told by a Buddhist monk that I would live to be very old ........and then die in a plane crash.

You can say that if I died now, I would be seen as dying young. I'm a little younger than Heath Ledger.

By the way, the forehead and eyebrows have the most influence in your life from the ages of 15-30. The temples and eyebrows refer to (I think) the ages of 26-30. The ears are most influential between 0-7 and 8-15 yrs. of age. However, long earlobes are still considered the best indicator of longevity.

If one has all those signs of early death, he should be all right if he can make it past 30. If within the next two-years, I suddenly disappear from GCZ and CZ and stop responding to private messages, you'll likely be able to guess why!

Surely, not even a Buddhist monk can be that accurate?

I'm very sadened by this news. He was one of the better, more dedicated actors in Hollywood. It wasn't just about glitz and glamour for him, he geniuinely was a nice guy. Sucks when someone so talented dies so young. I have even more reason to look forward to watching "The Dark Knight" seeing that it was Heath's last performance, in which many have said that he truly dedicated himself.
