![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | World Cup 2006 It's 9 days left to the biggest festivity of the year. Soccer is growing big in America and they are actually ranked 5th on FIFAs world ranking, will they surprise? Will Italy cheat? What are your thoughts and outcome predictions of the tournament. This is the place for discussions as well. Honestly I don't care much of how it goes for either Sweden, Italy or England. My main reason to watch the tournament is because I enjoy watching great football and I'm sure that Brazil will both win and deliver the most entertaining game. |

I support my country and i want them to win, but most of all i want to watch great games with many goals and great atmosphere on stadiums. ![]() |

![]() | Re: World Cup 2006 I really dont care that much. Hopefully Germany will do well. If you have watched the current test games you will recognize that even the former 'small' football nations took a huge step forward (strategy, speed, technical wise). Eg. Germany - Japan ended 2:2 and I was surprised how well the Japanise team was playing. I bet that one well talented african or asian team will play in the half finals. Hopefully the weather is getting better. At the morment its too cold ... Longtime weather forecast looks better and I hope it's true. You can feel that the vibe is continuously rising. Cant wait to go to the public viewing events in the city to celebrate with nice fans from arround the world... ![]() |

PS Brazil will win.. sweden always do well.. but this time i think they will get screwed..dont know why.. but it feels like it.. ohh and Forza Brazil, holland and sweden.. and death to germany england and france..ohh and the US to..hahah ![]() |

![]() | Re: World Cup 2006 FYI - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER(free registration) NYT has a story which city to chose for WC "EVERY four years, the world's sports fans share an experience unlike any other in its intensity, its drama, its exultation, its heartbreak: the World Cup, a tournament involving 32 countries from almost every corner of the globe. And the country that plays host to that event — this year it is Germany — is more than just a place where memorable matches are played out in packed stadiums. For a month, it is transformed into perhaps the world's best party scene" FYI. They selected Cologne as the best party zone ...but if you ask me , Stuttgart will be also nice. Any GCZ fans in Germany during the WC? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: World Cup 2006 I can't believe there's only 9 more days to go. I'm completely unprepared. 1) I wanted to buy a HDTV 2) I wanted to buy a TiVo 3) What the Efff - I moved away from Germany just in time to miss the WM? This is pure bull. If I stumble upon a $1,000 bill anytime in the next couple of weeks I'll still book my ticket. Problem is, the apartment I used to live in will most likely be occupied by stranger who'll probably be hostile if I break in and sleep on his sofa. Anyways, I demand everybody to PayPal me $10 to attone for my feeling very sorry for myself. It's the least you and your family can do. My fantasy final is Holland VS Germany. Not terribly realistic, but it could happen! Aside from that I hope either of the aforementioned teams make it to the top and give Brazil a good whippin'. A bummer that England will have to do without Rooney. Still, we might see him return if/when they make it to the elimination round. Berlin will be the best party zone 'coz Berlin is off the chain and chok full of "Azis." |
