Back in the mid-1950s the three letters SLR acquired a hallowed status, as a Mercedes-Benz racing car of that name set new standards in the world of high-class Gran Turismo vehicles. Visually breathtaking and, thanks to innovative technology, superior to its rivals in terms of performance and handling, it spawned a legend.

I didn't know the SLR had knee airbags.

BTW, I hate that rear spoiler on the SLR. I know it imroves the aredynamics and it probably wouldn't have such a performance without it, but still...What do you guys think???
