That is photographed on race-track Grobnik in Croatia...I live about 100 km from that place...It was on the TV, all new Mercedes models were there (SLR, CLS, S, SL....) + 300SL, a true legend. I didn't know that was happening so I didn't go there...Imagine, I could probably get ride in SLR!!!! ![]() |

| Re: Navy blue SLR. Nice color. Saw one on the way home tonight. You'd think w/ all of the unique design freatures that this car would be a stunner, but IMHO it does nothing for that car, or at least this car does nothing for me. I'm unmoved. |

| Re: Navy blue SLR. I think that is because everyone is so used to seeing the SLR in either Silver or Black to the point that other colors just don't look "right" or as stunning. I think it is time we found a SLR in Mars Red or Everest Green (these are U.S. market names for bright right and a kind of Forest/Emerald Green). Blue isn't really a sports car color anyway, blue works better on CL's and C/E/S cars. M |
