As a cutsomer of the Black Edition you have the choice between the Pirelli P Zero Nero or Corsa tyres, sport auto opted for the offering more grip Corsas.

The Black Edition is baout 50kgs lighter, has 40 PS more power and so perfroms better than the series

so, would you spent 40k more (or in addition) to convert your SLK 55 AMG into a Blacl series, is it worth the money?

NOPE.

A Cayman S and/or a Z4 M Coupe fitted with P Zero Corsas will offer similar performance for a lot less.

so a cayman S or Z4M can do the hockenheim in 1,15,4 with corsa tyres ??

Probably.
At one time, when they tested the Cayman S they got 1.15.5 min.
Later vs. Z4 M they got 16.9.
