And Bum-man if the S63 is coming to the US it should be in LWB form like the others S-Class cars here.

It would have been impressive if MB had introduced the much rumerd Bi-Turbo 571hp 6.0liter V8 opon intro. 525hp with 465lb-ft is quit a difference from it`s bigger brother the S65. I guess we will have to wait for the face-lift to get the Bi-Turbo version. That won`t be for the next 3-years or so.

Interesting thought, but I doubt MB will change the LWB coming here to the US, it`s very popular and is considered to be a status symbol. And I agree with you about the battery being in the trunk. ![]()

People buying an M5 do so for completely different reasons. I`m sure you know this. Anyone buying an S63 or S65 is well up in the bread and butter and want something thats screams thay are more successful "than you" These are flashing status symbols with a lot of class that no mid-sized hi-powered sedan can compare with. Thay are the next in line with the Bently Arnage so to speak. No M5, E63 or RS6 can ever possess that claim.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mercedes S63 Revealed Deutsch...Nuvo is right. Even though M5 is a great car, besides handling it doesn't anything else on the S63/65 AMG cars. There is a difference in why the M5 is under 100k and these AMG cars a LOT more. Personally...there is no car that can compete with the AMG S-Klasse...they are in a leage of their own. About redundancy...there isn't really a NEED for an M5 either ![]() |
