well, that's not my issue now is it??? I don't go to car dealers loaded w/ my digi cam in hand, it wasn't a launch even just another day at the dealer. Call my review whatever you like cuz I don't care.

The whole point of me posting this review was to give my opinion of the new S-class, not to stroke the ego of the typical fanboy behavior disiplayed by so many. Conceding to others beliefs and or ideas is something I've never been good at. No apologies.

Just kidding of course. Interesting. You probably weren't able to push it becuase you were test driving it though, right?

No. The salesperson rode in the backseat and my bestfreind was riding shot gun. He didn't say anything at all when I floored it, I seriously don't even know what happend? I floored it and it was like it took the car a moment to grasp just what exactly my left foot was doing, it didn't budge forward either. Looking down at the speedometer the tach was moving, albeit slowly. Prior to getting in the car I was told the battery was dead, as I walked away the salesman got a mechanic to check the car out and I wtinessed him driving rather briskly as he drove the car around the block to give it a test run before he bought it back for me to take over. Maybe this particular car was bugged? ?? Only god knows...

LOL -- you know you were asking for trouble when you started this thread Deutsch, the Mercedes fans are a tough bunch, they simply will not accept criticism of any kind ...especially about the new flagship model

man either something was wrong with your S class.. or well i dont know..maybe you where on crack when you drove it

..

cause when i drove it and floored it.. it gained speed like crazy..
but then again not in a dramatic manner.. but still fast as hell.. the sales dude got abit nervous..
