lOl, I can agree with that! The S550 is loaded. I didn`t know this car was the first car in the world equiped with a digital tv tuner. I also like the fact that the S-Class owner has fewer heart beats than the competition, Jeremy said "you will live longer with the S-Class". ![]()

![]() ![]() | Re: New S-class on TOPGEAR - Jeremy loves it (kinda) Really? I must have missed it, busy whiping up my drool. Im anxiously looking forward to the comparisons by non-german magazines. Or maybe this time the likes of CAR etc. wont even bother...because the outcome is so predictable. ![]() Last edited by Mr. Mercedes; 05-29-2006 at 04:10 PM. |

Yeah...but even so...hacking up the innocent and good shape S-Class W140 was a sad thing to watch. . The car stood up pretty well the cocnrete weight and even managed to go around the Hammerhead without crashing. Oh well...at least it was fun to watch Hammond and May sliding all over the place while the interior was falling apart. The S280 never was a performance car. Weighing 2 tons, it's only able of 0 to 60 Mph in 11 Seconds. So you can imagine how it would perform with another 2 tons of cement. The "S-Cottage-Class" now weighing 4 tons did 0 to 60 Mph in 35 Seconds. Hey! That's not bad for a cottage! ![]()
