![]() | Re: Wall Street Journal Reviews The 2007 S-Class one other thing....what is his problem with the parking sensors going off through a toll....when we go into our garage our cars parking sensors go off.....its kind of help ful....as they tell you if you are too close to one side of the garage......he must have been really close to the toll...oh well i think his review has some rather pathetic negatives.....haaa...he might as well have said he didn't like it because of the colour...ha |

![]() | Re: Wall Street Journal Reviews The 2007 S-Class I have to say I have seen 1 of these beasts in Sydney and LOVE its looks. Brutal and aggressive yet still elegant, I must admit I was surprised, given some of the negative press I have heard about its looks. Those wheel arches are perfectly suited to the car. In terms of the rest fo the article, I am surprised about the ride: have only heard lavish praise for that up until now. However, given the numerous different roads around the world, it is not surprising that at times one finds a patch perfectly unsuited for even what is otherwise a perfect car. Still, one would have hoped that advances in computer controlled suspension would have eliminated this issue...but I guess even MB can't make everyone happy all the time... But now, my big question...MB seems to have made advances with material quality and assembly quality with the new S class...but what of component reliability...???? Any horror stories yet of 3 week old cars being back at the dealers 5 times? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Wall Street Journal Reviews The 2007 S-Class Yeah I've been looking too, nothing yet. Fingers crossed. It will take about 4-5 months to see if there are any problems, especially with the U.S. made cars. However if there was something major we would know by now considering the car has been on sale in Europe for several months now. The last remaining component like Bozzor said is reliability because the SLK and CLS put an end to poorly constructed interiors along with the FL C, new ML/R/GL (these three to a lesser degree though). My stomach will be in knots awaiting the first quality reports on the car. That and that damn press release for the FL E. Where the hell is it???? M |
