Right on, but the S63 has the same looks with the newer engine and killer AMG G7! (something the 65 doesn`t have yet) plus I like the separated exhaust tips a little better.

The S63 might not have a V12 and it`s performance is a little slower 4.2 vs. 4.5 but heck, who going to be peeling rubber all the time. The S63 is more than enough.

I got Your point, unfortunately difference is HUGE, for those who buy it its critical difference, those 0.2 between 63 and 65 worth muvh more tha You think, not to mention sound of V12 vs V8.....

LOLLOLOL, that is just the 0-100 time GTA. The S65 eats S63 alive at all other speeds, and in between sprints and whatnot.

It's performance is not 'a little' slower....silly goose

well, we all know the S65 is one hell of a machine..
believe me I wouldn`t hesitate to buy one but I don`t see the point in using it in the city (stop and go traffic). I drove the S600 and it was bad enough!
The Bi-Turbo V12s just wants to get out from under you badly.

I think the S63 is good enough for everyday use. Why spend $20,000 to $54,000 more if your not going to take advantage of all that power!

I believe the S63 has a much better dollar speed ratio value compared to it`s bigger brothers because the performance isn`t even 15% less than either the S600 or S65.

As for the engine note 888, I think thats a matter of choice..

For some it just might be a penis enlargement. It feels good to know that you are driving a car with the biggest balls in the town.

Re: S65 AMG Cont'd Thread 2

WOW, quit a sound, I`ve herd this car in the metal and it`s really noticable!
much like an angry drum-roll!!

Im looking at the hp "at the wheel" 537hp@...4450rmp/ 654lb-ft@3900rpm
Thats a loss of 125hp! I`ll bet the 5-speed is taking up a lot of muscle here. It`still manages to be plenty fast though.

MB should be working on a new V12. Actually the next generation AMG S-Class should be a AMG design and built engine like the M156 in the rumered
S69 ( with a revised 7-speed)
