I remember hearing the facelift would bring a more powerful Gallardo with 550hp, that would make more sense in terms of product positioning. Perhaps this is how the Audi-Lamborghini marriage will end, one last ho rah... |

| Re: Gallardo facelift to use parts from Audi R8. My information is that Audi has no plans to sell Lamborghini. They would be stupid to do that.Who would kill the goose with the gold eggs?  For Bugatti the things are difficult though. Wiedeking (Porsche CEO) has threatened to shut them down unless they come with a proposition about a new model that will be profitable. Veyron has lost too much money and the technology behind it is very expensive to be used in any other model of the VW group. | Re: Gallardo facelift to use parts from Audi R8. I have no problems with the Gallardo using parts from the R8, it has always been this way from the start anyway. The gauges and interior switchgear all are from Audi, and they've done a pretty darn good job with the Gallardo even then. |
