The Q7 is Audi's answer to the likes of the BMW X5, Range Rover Sport, Mercedes-Benz R-Class, Volvo XC90 and other large 4x4s bought for their on-road driving performance - and most importantly, their image - rather than out-and-out off-roading ability. Audi has been late to offer such a model, and the Q7 doesn't really offer anything new or unique in this sector. However, it's very well-engineered, beautifully put together and finished with the requisite aggressive front end and rakishly slanted tailgate: add the 20-inch alloy wheels and it looks ready for some serious action, even if this is only on the school run.

How about the only one to have airsuspension as standard.

How about 7 seats as standard(usable ones that is)

How about the only car in its class to have quattro(lame I now!)

It's talking about the overall concept of the vehicle - it's hardly anything groundbreaking. Standard air suspension (doesn't the Touareg/Cayenne have it on some models?) or 7 seats is hardly something to write home about, and, well, it's pretty obvious that all the cars in the segment have some form of 4WD.. Essentially the article is saying that while Audi's take on the Lux-SUV segment is not innovative in its approach (and I don't think it intended it to be), it does offer something worthwhile - all the mentioned Audi traits of high quality, good engineering, aggressive styling and all that.
