I dont know the story abou the 928.. so if someone know inform us..
but look at this.. if they make it.. i feel sorry for the CL and M6..

WOW That's has to be one of the best panamera chops I have seen so far. Too ba it doesn't have four door but it's definetly hot.

Look what I have found. The article is quite interesting but I really don't think that Porsche will bring this car bacause of the fact that the Panamera is on the way which makes this car more or less useless.

Well this isnt a panamera PS.. but still it looks good..
And still think it could find a place in the market.. it could go against the Vanquish, 600IMOLA, CL63 AMG.. M6 and such..

Where the hell would this car fit in the Porshce lineup, not only the car itself, but price wise!?!?! This car would be a bit redundant in the Porsche lineup. Cool none the less.

Boxster,,cayman..911 basic to GT2.. Cayenne/panamera ( the same) This one.. the CGT..

I think it fits in just fine

Not really Stuttgarter, the 928 was a GT car, it's bigger and a bit more comfortable than a 911 - it would compete against the CL. My dad had a 928 S4 from 1989 to 1995 - it was his favourite car he has ever owned.

I don't know about that rationalization. The Boxster is the entry level "poor mans" Porsche, then comes the Cayman, something like a poor mans 911. 911 for those who want the original, ultimate, and chracterful Porsche. Cayenne for those who want a Porsche but need the space. The Panamera will be for those that want all things Porsche in a modern interpratation, that can be all things to a single individual. The 928.... fits in no where.

911 is the coupe for all coupes, including the CL.
