![]() ![]() | Re: Series for Series, Class for Class, A for A.. Compact: 1er Small: Lexus IS (read:http://www.germancarzone.com/showthread.php?t=973) But I'm expecting big things from the new C. Medium: 5er or A6 (I would need some serious back to back testing and specification comparisons) Large: S-class (is there any other?) SUV: I'll wait for the next X5 Roadster: SLK Small Coupe: I have no idea. New 3er coupe, Audi TT and 2007 CLK all look EXTREMELY promising. GT: New CL |

![]() ![]() | Re: Series for Series, Class for Class, A for A.. Hatchback: 1er... I think it's a sweet little car... Compact: Undeniably the E90. Mid size. Audi A6 for the regular version. M5 for the sportier one. GT: 6er. Most interesting to look at plus there is the m6 Full size: Between the 7er and A8. That's a really tough one. I'll flip a coin SUV: Until the new X5 comes out and if it looks good, the Q7 Roadster: I'd say the Boxter but out of all the 3 big germans, the Z4. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Series for Series, Class for Class, A for A.. Some of you guys are so skued to the brand its outrageous.... Entry, i would take the 3 series coupe. Had one as a demo and loved it, great gas mileage and looks! Mid i would take a Infiniti M all wheel drive, i think its the better of the brands as far as reliability, and again im happy with the design. Its simple and yet detailed. Luxury, i would take a Audi 8L, be it S or A i dont care, that is the car i like best. Not to different in style, easy on the eyes, and very roomy and classy, beautiful interior too. Coupe i would take my CL i just love my car. Or an Aston Martin, or even a Bentley GT. Too hard to choose, but i would stick to what i have, my CL makes me smile! SUV... Hard one, i dont really like them too much at all , probably the Infiniti FX like i already have, i drove it, like it, and have fun with it. I hope i answered this question somewhat properly, i wasn't really sure what was being asked. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Series for Series, Class for Class, A for A.. Hatchback: 1er (Love the styling of it...althought the B-class looks quite impressive too) Compact car: 3er ...simple as that. Yes that may be a biased decision, but the car is just the best in its class (IMO). Medium car: Damn this is a tough one between the 550i and E500. I don't think I would consider the A6, even if it has better interior quality n so forth, I'm just not a big fan of the frontal look of the car. E500 looks gorgeous, but 550i looks damn nice too in a completely different way. Have to drive them to decide. Large car: Well, it's the 7er, although the A8L comes in 2nd place not too far behind. Im not impressed by the new S-class even if it may be the 'best' in the class, the looks are unappealing to me. The 7er ? well, the makeover has done wonders for it..and really like the interior styling. The A8? well, great looking car, and nice interior..but I dont think I'd have the BIG smile i would if i opened my garage n saw the 7er sitting there. So 7er gets the nod there. Coupe: 6er vs CL: Has to be the CL by the barest of margins. Both are beautiful cars...but the CL's long profile is simple irresistable for me. Large Convertible: 6er Conv' vs SL: Here the 6er wins. I dont like the looks of the standard SL (as oppossed to the AMG variants), and the 6er looks stunning with the top down. 2 thumbs up to the 6er here. SUV: Hands down the X5. Not a fan of the ML...and the new Q7 doesn't appeal to me either. X5 is great looking..and if I could get my hands on the 4.8iS, then that would be a dream come true. Roadster: TT's looking old, new SLK's too feminine for my tastes....so the Z4 wins because of it's flame surfacing look, and that long bonnet is like WOW! Yes it does seem like i'm heavily biased towards BMW, but they make cars which I like the look of, have that characteristic dynamic driving factor and there's always the ///M models if you have the money. ![]() |
