They always have cool exhibitions that get updated regularly. The museum focuses only on German cars and the development of the car within Germany from the beginning to the mid 1990s. If you're ever in this area of Germany, check out this place. A friend of mine just finished restoring one (a month ago). He has it in a garage near my house and some time ago, i went to see it! that car is totally awesome. He turned the engine on and that V8 sounds great -for a 1939 car. Well, now he has many responsibilities with his work and he doesn't have much free time to take it for a test drive, so probably at the christmas vacations we will meet each other and drive that car! He lives 5 minutes away from me and he is a great guy! He is now working on a 1942 Opel Olympia and has finished a 1969 Citroen (don't remember the name).

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Amerang: German Car Museum (Part I: 1885-1942) edit; I would have taken some pics the first time i saw it, but i didn't have a camera with me, even that damn 9300 has one, and the light is not suitable for photographing the car. BTW, it is black and cherry red with black leather interior and REAL wood! |

For some reason, the website doesn't work for me on the school's computer so you'll have to access it yourself and look for the address. Remind me sometime if you can't find it! If I recall correctly, it should be on the front page! ![]()
