![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Singapore Motorshow 2006 *56k warning* It's the Singapore Motorshow this week and I'm giving it first hand to you! I'm just back from over 5 hours at the show, held at two entire levels of exhibition space. I'll let the pictures do most of the talkin'... Ferrari & Maserati Both Italian automakers shared a display which had 4 of their proudest stallions: The new 599GTB Fiorano, the F430, The Gransport MC Victory and the Quattroporte Sport GT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lamborghini Not willing to be outdone by the fellow at Maralleno and Modena, the automaker from Bologna displayed the Gallardo Spyder, the LP640 (customised specially by a local businessman, the first LP640 in S'pore) and the Gallardo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Subaru The Japanese automaker had the biggest stand in the whole Motorshow, and for good reason: they presented the new Tribecca SUV and the facelifted Legacy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Look at that hideous front. I still like Subaru despite of their crime here. Lexus The new LS460 on display, as well as their concept supercar, the LF-A. Also, they had a RX400h in cross-section so that one could view the hybrid system in greater detail. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Check out this LED headlights! ![]() ![]() Even the short wheelbase LS felt gargantuan. ![]() ![]() Russ Swift's stunt show, hosted by Subaru Some of his stunts are so amazing you'd keep second-guessing on whether he'll crash... But he doesn't. I have a few videos, but for some reason my videos aren't really compatible with YouTube. Took some good pictures nonetheless... ![]() Russ prepares to enter the arena... ![]() ![]() ![]() Mitsuoka Motors Just look at these horrendous things. ![]() This is based on the Honda Accord. ![]() This is based on the Nissan Fuga or the Infiniti M45 (I think). Looks like a Rolls from front and back but interior remains as a Nissan. Horrible horrible. But ahem, nice booty lady... ![]() ![]() This is the Orochi. Priced nearly as expensive as our Quattroporte. Go figure... Assorted pictures Alfa Spider ![]() ![]() Subaru something (forgot the name of this pocket rocket)... 300+bhp, does 0-100 in sub 4 seconds. ![]() ![]() Lifan 520 - China's version of the 5 Series I see... ![]() ![]() ![]() Look at that nasty interior! Toyota Concept ![]() Geely CK - another Chinese car... The invasion commences. ![]() Skoda Octavia VRS - now this is one heck of a car... No budget for a GTI? This is your best bet. ![]() Mysterious i-Drive controller in Ssangyong - yes guys, I saw this in the Ssangyong Chairman... And guess what it is? A container! ![]() Rinspeed ?? - I found this utterly distasteful. ![]() That's all for now guys, until I get to upload my videos... Enjoy! ![]() Last edited by Mirage77; 11-11-2006 at 05:43 AM.. |
