Actually new S class has 11,8 faults while A8 only 1,7. As you can see too many gadgets have their negative effect.

I was talking about them being on top. Logical speaking A4, 3er,C-class, Passat or other cars in that class would be on top.

A4, 3er ect are not in the "Large car" category (which is called "ober/luxusklasse" in the magazine).

Here are the results from "mittelklasse" since you are interested:

2. SAAB 9-3 - 3,9
3. Mercedes C class - 6,6
4. Audi A4 - 7,7
5. Volvo S40/V40 - 7,8
6. Opel Vectra - 8,8
7. BMW 3-series - 9,3
8. Nissan Primera - 9,8

4 and 5 year old cars:
1. Honda Accord - 8,3
2. Jaguar X-Type - 12,6
3. Toyota Avensis - 14.1
4. Audi A4 - 14,6
5. Nissan Primera - 15,8
6. Subaru Legacy - 15,9
7. Mitsubishi Charisma - 16,1
8. Mercedes C class - 16,8
12. BMW 3-series - 20.7
