Very good, for all of them. Hehe, i knew that SLK will outsell the Z4, i knew it! And beliebe it or not, i'm glad about it. Time for some people from BMW to do something better with Z4, not only to put M3's engine inside and a M logo. FACELIFT PLEASE!!!

Re: German sales January to September 2005.

Im very satisfied with these results, the E class sold more than the 5 even with all those problems!!! I never expected that!!

With the C-Class, its normal cause the car is getting very old, and looks very outdated!

And look at the upper luxury's, the CLS sold the most (the biggest proof how sexy the car really is ) Oops the 6er is suffering there below!! EVEN THE PHAETON SOLD MORE!! 7er is doing great! Nevertheless I expected the A8 to sell more. The numbers for the S are normal IMO...

BMW X3 should sell more with that price-category! The X5, with that old design is still doing very well!! And I still like that car
We will see the real succes of the new ML comming months...

SLK sold dubble of MINI!!! The car is very cool!! But I feel very bad for the CLK Cabrio!! Whats happend with it!!

The new Golf V is a very good car and worth of money. I'm paying 25k for my wifes 2.0TDi Sportline with following:

Climatronic (dual ac)
ESP
8 Airbags
CD changer with 10 speakers
16" alloy wheels with Bridgestone tyres 225/55
Sport seats
Remote lock
El. windows
BC
Tinted windows
140 hp, V-max 220

What else do you want in a GOLF?

Re: German sales January to September 2005.

Golf is easily the best car in it's class believe me cause i have "studied" the competition (Astra, Focus ect.). The rivals sell cheaper cause they don't have the overall quality of a VW. the paint is the best among the non luxury brands, the seats have the best support and are the most comfortable for long trips (even in my wife's Polo i have sat for 5 hours driving without feeling tired unlike any other car in the segment) ect.
VW means quality with capital letters. And i hope noone mentions reliability cause again compared to French and American (Opel, Ford) competition , Golf is still much better (although not as good as Honda or Toyota which on the other hand are very basic and cheap in built materials).

Very well put. Here in the U.S. that is true also, but VW's prices and their reliablity hold them back big time. We American (excluding me of course) aren't as astute when it comes to cars.

Re: German sales January to September 2005.

Look at the entry luxury class with the A4 and the Passat and the compact class or w/e with the Golf and the A3. I guess a company offering two models in the same class that compete with each other isn't such a bad idea after all. VAG seems to know what it's doing.
