I was a muslim but now I'm an atheist, simply don't beleive in God. All I beleive in is me, my mental power, will and ability. Life is what you make it.

Yes, and he will end up like Popay...

Anyway, seriously speaking, in these old RRs the driver was allowed to drink!?

Re: Luxury drinks cart

Maybe in the time of these old RRs, anyone who could afford one was somehow that much less visible to the constabulary. Not to mention alcohol might not have been recognised as the car accident demon it is.

As for me.. years back, I've smoked a few cigarettes, on and off, for maybe a week. It was dumb and useless and I never touch the darned things. Sure, you've got to die some day, but declining health isn't fun, and lung cancer is a bad way to go for both the sufferer and the relatives who have to see it.

I don't mind alcohol - but I hardly ever drink, and I try very hard not to drink (and even then, maybe one beer, several hours beforehand) if I have to drive. Otherwise, maybe a beer or a glass of wine now and then can be enjoyable.

I like broccoli, too. You have to cook it properly - not the steamed-to-a-pulp way, but maybe stir fried so it's still a bit crisp. Spinach is good, too - but washing the stuff to get the dirt off is a real chore.

The solicitors and personal injury lawyers will not allow it! I always thought the interiors of those bus-like limousines look like the Space Mountain ride at Disney. Still, I'd rather get laid in one of those trashy SUV limousines on prom right than inside a classy Rolls-Royce.

By the way, Rob, spinach is only good for you if it is not the contaminated Californian variety!

I actually like broccoli as well, but it is a fickle vegetable. It has to be cooked properly or the texture becomes mushy in a hurry. Has anyone seen Iron Chef? There is a great broccoli episode.

Re: Luxury drinks cart

Yep, you are right, broccoli has to still be a bit crunchy ...mushy broccoli is not pleasant and over-cooking destroys the vitamins. Oh yes, and Ray, that is terrible about that contaminated spinach ...I feel a lawsuit coming on.

I have never been in one of those stretched limousines ....they look terrible in my opinion.

I like this old Lincoln from the 1960's. The interior looks kind of like a coffin though.

This Rolls-Royce interior is like a trove of vices.

Re: Luxury drinks cart

i like the way the RR designers fit that cigar-box there!

I guess they don't mind a grass of scotch and a cigar from time to time..

but i don't see anything that has to do with broccoli inside a RR. Maybe the designers don't consider it a luxury item!?

Re: Luxury drinks cart

hahaha this thread is great started off about limos and now it has turned to broccli. Personaly i like brocoli a little bit when it is cooked rite. Has anyone noticed almost whenever you go to a restaurant and order it they always screw it up?

Well back on topic- In modern cars like the maybach and bentleys and i think some phantoms have the fridge and all that stuff but never have i seen a place for alcoholic beverages in the front seat. Kinda weird
