The dream garage of Jeremy Clarkson

"Jeremy Clarkson
My favourite car? That’s a tricky one

Now, however, there are probably 20 or 30 cars that I’d gladly buy, cars that I want to buy, cars that keep me awake at night as I toss and turn wondering which one would be best . . .

My current favourite is the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Lamborghinis have always been 10 tons of style with no substance at all. But in recent years Audi has put a bit of Araldite in the mix and now you could nearly convince yourself that this noisy and shouty mid-engined drop top supercar with bright orange seats is a sensible exchange for 131,000 of your pounds. Plus another £600 if you want a cupholder......."

Inside Jeremy’s dream garage

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
BMW M5
VW Phaeton
Rolls-Royce Phantom
Corvette C6
Vauxhall Monaro
Porsche Carrera GT
Pagani Zonda F
Alfa Romeo Brera
Audi RS4
Bugatti Veyron

Re: The dream garage of Jeremy Clarkson

He wants a Lambo, an Audi and a Pagani. He doesn't seem as insane as I thought.

Re: The dream garage of Jeremy Clarkson

I've been waiting eagerly for this list. Judging by his comments on certain cars I've always wondered what this lsit would be like. Some things that come out of his mouth are just plain wrong, stupid and unsensible but he hit it right with this list. There is no car in there that I don't understand why he chose it. Good work Clarkson.

Happy to see the Gallardo and Zonda F there. Surprised not to see a Koenigsegg though considering his comments on it. I fully understand why he didn't.

Well, me to. Except one. I don't get why he would pick a Pheaton over an A8/S8 for example.

The M5 isn't such a huge suprise. The Engine, power and gearbox are amongst the best out there.
