BMW was on the list last time as well but never become no1. I dont see that happening again. Probably an italian again

It's a matter of value for money which is not BMW's strong point as with any other luxury marque.
I hope Passat wins and not any crappy Italian or French car again.

I think that it's between the Passat and 3er, one of them will take the award to Germany.

Last year the 5 series E60 WAS a European Car Of The Year!

Nope, it was the 5 series. 30 journalist were there and 18 of them agreed that the crown takes 5er. According to Croatian AMS and AutoBild.

So the majority of journalists prefered the 5 series but still Prius got more points?
Anyway it's a shame stupid cars like Fiat Panda or Alfa Romeo usually win the COTY cause Italian and French companies can have more journalists to vote for them.
