Some of those cars dont look proper with massive rims, and others do. For the most part i think a nice set of wheels is needed to fill the wheel wells. Makes the car look so damn pretty. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Rolling on 20's? Yes As long as its big with sense. If its big just to be big, i think its retarded. Like the 19" wheels on the M5 and M6. This makes sense because the wheel is proportionate to the wheel well and makes sense for the horse power and torque. If you put big rims on your cooper S, you might loose acceleration because the axel has to work much harder to spin the wheels as quickly. What you will gain is top speed because the wheels and tires cover more distance with one spin of the Axel. This stuff is pretty obvious and I'm sure you knew it. I live in southern California so I'm just a tad synical. Every other car I see has really heavy 22" spinners. If I were you I would get very light (not chrome) 17 or 18 inch wheels. That would be taste full, indubitably. ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Re: Rolling on 20's? Yes Why would you put rims like that on a Porsche (a true sports car), it's so sad The only car, and I honestly mean this... THE one car that can get rims is the Phantom... I think it looks better with rims actually. Proper ones, not spinners or rims with dollar signs. |
