However, these gmboys are stretching things way too far. The BLS is a silly, boring, unattractive, overpriced FWD American car in Europe. It won't sell. And no matter, how hard the gmboys says, that will be an "individual" choice compared to the Germans. The car is nothing more than another tarted-up Vectra. With the BLS, GM will overlap Saab with a similar car to the 9-3. And they still wonder why Saab is losing money and GM is on the verge of bankrupticy. Saab doesnt sell well but does manage 80k cars. That's not very good, but still decent. Mind you, Cadillac only sold 60 CTS in UK. Last edited by Andaluz; 03-09-2006 at 01:14 PM. |

![]() | Re: Those "GMboys"...No offense to GM fans. It's extremely hard to compete in the class that the CTS competes in. On top of that, Cadillac has no presence in the UK so buying one is not the same as buying one in the US. The brand is non existant overseas. I don't think that GM should really be trying to break into already competitive markets when it has so many problems to deal with already. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Those "GMboys"...No offense to GM fans. The BLS shares its chassis with the saab 9-3 and vauxhall/opel vectra... It will just be a redressed saab then thats competing against FR and quattro cars when it itself is wrong wheel drive. Its not gonna work. |
