Well I haven't driven one BB, but I'll take it from a trusted source - if Jeremy Clarkson thinks this car is incredible, then it has got to be someting special.

Re: THE ACTUAL POLE (disregard that last one)

I just realized that video I posted was not the full thing - but it gives the general impression...and what a sound that thing makes.

Artist, I love the Zonda F very much - but as Clarkson said on his TG [Bugatti Veyron] review "we will never see another car like it again" - the Zonda is an awesome car - but the Bugatti Veyron is "stratospheric" (I had to check my dictionary to make sure that word could actually be used in that context - LOL)

Actually if you look a little deeper, I, as a VW shareholder might, be miffed at the loss-making Veyron program but what I will be impressed with is the quality, ingenuity, determination and ability to execute on the part of the Veyron's engineers. VW has shown the world that they have the technological know-how to produce the fastest road going car ever seen.

So, it might not lap the 'Ring in a CGT or Zonda F bashing lap time but come up against one of these on the Autobahn and one will appreciate a whole new dimension in the concept of SPEED.

In years gone by the Veyron will be remembered for being the first ICBM on 4 wheels. The Veyron isn't a car as much as a weapon of mass destruction. Whether, in that, lies its appeal, I can't quite say for myself but I will acknowledge the superlative achievement that the Veyron represents. One can't ignore the facts; irrespective of a purist's appreciation of things Macca F1, Zonda F and all, the Veyron is now a reality. It's here and it's earth-shattering.

...and in my humble opinion, given the unsustainable consumption of fossil fuels, we'll never see anything like it again.
