![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Renault eyes up Jaguar takeover? I say why not. Ford has shown that it doesn't know what to do with Jaguar. Ford has helped Land Rover, Aston-Martin and Volvo out a great deal with money and other things since it bought all those brands. Jaguar however is still dying a slow death while the other 3 PAG brands thrive so why not sell Jaguar off, maybe it is too much for Ford and handle. Jaguar needs an owner with deep pockets and the discipline to let Jaguar do its own thing for a little while. Ford has enough with Jaguar imo, so maybe its time for them to sell them off. Problem is Jaguar is no so intergrated into their PAG division so it might not be that simple. Ford would have to make sure whoever buys Jaguar doesn't leave them high and dry in engine supply to Land Rover. M |

I really don't mind Renault buying it since it's pretty obvious that Ford doesn't care much for the brand. A S-type replacement need to be produced ASAP and the X-type is seriously over priced and laggs behind it's German rivals. Jaguar needs to be rescued. Supermanufacturer where are you? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Renault eyes up Jaguar takeover? That would be fantastic... simply because Ford *$%#ed up the brand (IMO) and maybe Renault can turn it around like they did with Nissan. |
