I am not going to repeat what everyone here has said to you, however you have to take into consideration that you are dealing with mature and honest people and they do not have to address you in the fashion that you have been addressed. Choleric, notic, dominix, El Zorro, MikeJ, Mirrage, and Nevadajack have all been nice enough to not point out your immaturity and simply give you a helping hand. I suggest you take it and not look back.

Photography is art, but it is easier--some say--to paint and create art, than have to find it and then put it onto film. A photographer is a photographer whether he has a $4,000 camera or a $200 point and shoot. I suggest you start learning about the fundamentals of photography and go out and shoot. Shooting will only help you.

Your girlfriend and your personal life should have nothing to do with this photography competition. We are all here competing in a manner which defines out maturity and respect for each other. No one here is here to neither attack anyone nor discourage them. So, being so pessimistic is not going to solve your problem.

Once again, please cut the immaturity and learn how to 1. Follow the rules, 2. Take a constructive criticism, and 3. Not justify what you think is bad photography for you lack of money.

Zonda and I both wanted to have a photo competition for everyone to compete in a nice and humble manner so that we can all learn, discover, and appreciate photography from a whole different perspective. Please don't mess that up.
