Wow!! A lot of entries this week - and every single one is great!! I voted for DaSilva. Like the different design elements, colours. Great combination and nice perspective.

Glad to see how many enthousiastic photographers have joined this competition.
I think the overall quality is really good

I was going to decide between Ree, Bruce and DaSilva, but somehow I kept staring at Cawimmer's funny but a little sad looking dog... his picture is really good: a low depth of focus, the cropping makes the viewer curious of what's in the background... so Christian gets my vote!
DaSilva has the most balanced picture of the bunch, I also really liked the high contrast portrait that Bruce made (but I shouldn't encourage smoking by giving my vote to this sneaky tobacco advert

) and Ree brought something to our attention that most people wouldn't even notice: the beauty of a spider web.

But the bird should be either more to the left or the right.

I know that in many cases the subject should be placed more to the left or the right, to obey to the so called "one-third-rule" of photography. But I thought that in this case the central position of the bird was quite appropriate: a multi-colored subject against a dark B/W background.
